The 2015 Ontario Provincial Time Trial Champions were decided on a testing but beautiful course in Huntsville. In the heart of Muskoka, riders tested themselves against the clock in a bid to win a coveted Trillium Jersey as provincial champion.
Beautiful Huntsville played host to the 2015 Ontario Provincial Time Trial Championship.
The picturesque location was capped off by this antique train which regularly took tourists for rides. Luckily the course finished before the tracks.
Rolling out the start gate…
…and up the first hill.
NCCH p/b Dec Express rolls out the start gate and up the first hill on route to 2nd place in the U23 category.
Riders were almost smiling at the start before the pain of the “Race of Truth” set in and put a new expression on their face.
Silber Pro Cycling’s Ryan Roth was the second last rider to take the course but took the first step on the podium and the Trillium jersey.
Riders pushed hard right till the end to eek out every second they could.
If the start area was beautiful than the finish line was breathtaking, not that the riders noticed.
